Some of you may already be aware that there is a new housing project proposed for the site commonly known as the Bombay Restaurant site at the corner of Andrews Avenue and Oakland Park Blvd. This is the first significant proposal under the newly enacted zoning regulations that were approved by the commissioners in 2021. We are fortunate that the developers and their architectural team is doing a presentation to our members at our forthcoming meeting to be held at Hagen Park Community Center on January 12th which begins at 7PM. Please keep in mind this is not a city meeting, none the less we will be limiting public comments to 3 minutes or less so that we can keep tp our tradition of having meetings that last approximately 1 hour. Now is the time to voice your support or concerns with civility as this project slowly winds its way through the city and county approval process.
